Syrian Army units on Thursday carried out large-scale military operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings, where many armed terrorist groups were eliminated and their weapons were destroyed in several areas nationwide.

More terrorists killed in Damascus Countryside

Army units killed numbers of terrorists and injured others in a series of operations that resulted in destroying scores of terrorists’ dens in various areas in Damascus Countryside.

Sources told SANA reporter that a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured, with their weapons destroyed, in the farms of al-Hijjariyeh and Alieyh and near Hassibeh Mosque in Douma city.

An army unit, the sources added, clashed with a terrorist group in Joubar neighborhood, killing 4 terrorists.

Other units of the armed forces razed several terrorists’ dens in the areas of Drousha, Skeik, Tall Abo Shieyh and Khan al-Shie’, killing the terrorists and destroying the weapons and ammunition inside.

Army units also clashed with terrorist groups in Daraya city. The clashes ended in killing and injuring numbers of terrorists and destroying their weapons.

Army units kill large number of terrorists in Homs

In Homs, army units confronted armed terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate from the neighborhoods of al-Qusour, al-Qarabis and Jouret al-Shayah into al-Matahen area in the city, a military source said.

SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that 37 terrorists were killed in the confrontations.

Units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists in Bab Hood neighborhood and near the old garage in the city and on al-Za’faraneh-Deirfoul road and in Burj Qaei village in al-Houleh area in the countryside, according to a military source.

Terrorists Ahmad Saeed Sattam Hamdan and Qassem Hamdan were identified among the dead, the source told SANA.

A number of armed terrorist groups were eliminated in the neighborhoods of al-Qarabis and Jouret al-Shayah and al-Dar al-Kabira village, while army units destroyed a gathering for terrorists in al-Ghasbiyeh village who had been firing rocket shells towards residential neighborhoods in the city.

Terrorists eliminated, their criminal tools destroyed in Deir Ezzor

A source told SANA reporter that army units destroyed two pick-up cars equipped with anti-aircraft machineguns in al-Arfi, al-Sina’a, al-Jbaileh neighborhoods and Hassan al-Taha street in Deir Ezzor.

The source added that the army killed a number of terrorists, among them Wesam al-Ali from the so-called al-Katiba al-Khadraa and terrorists Mohammad al-Izzawi and Hasem al-Attalah.

In Hasaka, an army unit destroyed terrorists’ gathering in Tal Barak, killing and injuring all the terrorists inside it.

Army eliminates terrorists, destroys their hideouts in Aleppo

Army units killed and injured all members of armed terrorist groups in the villages of al-Jadideh, Kwairis and surrounding Aleppo central prison, destroying their weapons and ammunition, a military source told SANA. The source added that terrorists’ cars loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed surrounding Rasem al-Abboud airport, the village of Abu Taltal, the industrial city, to the east of Kbasin village, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

An army unit ambushed an armed terrorist group which tried to infiltrate into al-Azamiyeh area, killing all its members.

Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed armed terrorist group’s hideout near Ba’idin roundabout, killing and injuring all its members.
