Army directs painful blows to terrorists, destroys many of their gatherings

 

The army units on Sunday continued operations razed many of the terrorist groups’ gatherings and dens in various areas, killed many terrorists, including non-Syrians, and destroyed heavy weaponry.

 

Army units kill terrorists in Damascus countryside towns and villages

 

Army units eliminated armed terrorist groups, some of them Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called ”Ababil Hawran Brigade” affiliates in a series of operations against their gatherings in al-Qaboun neighborhood and several towns and villages in Damascus countryside.

 

An official source told SANA that a den for terrorists was destroyed with the weapons and ammunition inside it in al-Nashabiyeh farms, and a terrorist group affiliated to the so-called ”Ababil Hawran Brigade”. Abdullah Ghannoum and Hadi al-Dera’wi have been identified among the dead.

 

The source added that army units clashed with terrorist groups in the farms of al-Bahariah, al-Dilbeh, Htaitet al-Turkman, and around the Damascene village, and destroyed amounts of weapons and ammunition.

 

The source pointed out that terrorists have been killed during army operations on the outskirts of Hijjera and al-Sbeineh towns, among them a Saudi called Abu Huzaifa, and Ahmad Shahin, a leader of an armed terrorist group.

 

The army units also destroyed a gathering for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and killed Ahmad Kadri, leader of a terrorist group, Mohammad Tayyara and Rateb al-Najjar.

 

In Zabadani, an army unit pursued an armed terrorist group and killed the terrorist Mohammad al-Moghrabi, as another unit pounded a terrorist concentration in Yabroud farms and killed several terrorists, among them Talal Rizek.

 

Moreover, an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in the vicinity of al-Omari Mosque in al-Qaboun neighborhood and killed three of its members.

Army units establish control over factories and cotton ginning mills area in Aleppo

 

Units of the armed forces on Sunday established full control over the factories and cotton ginning mills area to the east of al-Nairab Airport in Aleppo province, eliminating all the terrorists who were barricaded in it.

 

The operation resulted in confiscating seven 120mm mortar launchers, twenty 82mm mortar launchers, large amounts of explosives in a workshop for manufacturing IEDs, and a radio broadcast station.

 

An army unit also dismantled dozens of explosive devices planted by terrorists in a number of factories in the area.

 

In Aleppo city, army units clashed with terrorists who tried to infiltrate the safe neighborhoods in Seif al-Dawla, al-Iza’a, al-Ashrafiye, and Souk al-Khodar, eliminating dozens of terrorists, while another unit destroyed terrorist gatherings in al-Salihin and al-Marjeh neighborhoods.

 

In Aleppo countryside, army units eliminated terrorist gatherings in Tal Daman, Oram al-Kubra, Khan al-Assal, Hreitan, Kafr Dael, Kaskis, Handarat, al-Zebdiye, al-Jdaideh, Shuwaihna, and around the Central Prison and al-Kindi Hospital.

 

A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in a series of special operations carried out by the army north of al-Nayrab and al-Wudaihi areas, which also resulted in destroying a car loaded with weapons and ammo.

Army units kill terrorists, destroy weapons in Idleb countryside

 

Units of the army killed and injured members of terrorist groups, some of them Libyans and Saudis in Idleb countryside and destroyed heavy machineguns and cars loaded with weapons and ammunition.

 

A military source told SANA that a 14.5 mm machinegun and a den for a terrorist group were destroyed in Kafrlata town with all its members, among them a Libyan called Abu Hassan, Youssef Addad, Yehia Zakaraya and Qusai al-Qawwas.

 

The source added that an army unit killed leaders of terrorist groups in Sarmin and destroyed three cars loaded with weapons and ammunition. The terrorist Abu Mohammad al-Muhajer from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) was identified among the dead.

 

Terrorists’ gatherings and ammunition cache targeted in Idleb

 

The army units in Idleb killed 30 terrorists, most of them are non-Syrians, and destroyed three of their cars equipped with heavy machine guns in Saraqeb city, according to a military source.

 

The source told SANA that other army units destroyed an ammunition cache for terrorists in Bazzeh farm in the countryside of Ariha city.

 

Several terrorists’ gatherings and dens were razed in the surrounding of Jabal al-Arabeen and in the areas of Kafrlata, Binnesh and Saraqeb. All of the terrorists targeted were left dead or injured.

Terrorists killed, others arrested in Homs

 

Meanwhile, a number of terrorists were arrested in al-Mishrfeh town in Homs, while others’ gatherings were destroyed in the neighborhoods of al-Waer, al-Qusour, al-Warsheh, al-Safsafeh, Jouret al-Shayah and Bab Hood and the villages of al-Khaldiyeh, al-Ghanto, al-Rastan and al-Dar al-Kabira.

 

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the framework of the operations, while a rocket launcher was destroyed.

 

Suicide bomber in Homs city killed

 

In another context, an official source told SANA that a suicide bomber driving a bicycle was killed in al-Dublan Street in the city of Homs. No casualties among the citizens were reported.

 

Large amount of explosive devices seized in Hama

 

A military source told SANA that the competent authorities, in cooperation with the locals, seized a large amount of explosive devices and hand grenades inside a terrorist den in al-Arbaeen neighborhood in Hama city.

 

The source added that explosive tools and stolen medical equipment were also seized inside the den.

34 gunmen and army deserters surrender to authorities in Damascus Countryside

 

Thirty-four people of those who had been misled and got involved in the ongoing events in the country and others who deserted the army turned themselves in to the authorities in the towns of Bait Sahm, Yelda and Bibila in Damascus Countryside.

 

The surrendering persons handed over their weapons so as to benefit from the amnesty issued by a decree on the 29th of last October.

 

On Saturday, tens of gunmen turned themselves in and surrendered their weapons to the authorities in the towns of Yelda and Beit Sahm after coordination by town dignitaries, which also resulted in rescuing families which were held by terrorist groups and used as human shields.
